IAGA SYMPOSIUM IS 2.15/3.11: Interhemispheric Contrasts in Substorm
			      Signatures

Convenor: J.C. Samson
Co-convenor: J.R. Dudeney

This symposium encompasses studies on the experimental and
theoretical evaluation of significant interhemispherical contrasts in
the signatures of substorms. These studies should aim at providing
critical tests of competing substorm theories.

ABSTRACT DEADLINE is February 1, 1995. The original and two (2)
copies of your abstract should be sent to:

IAGA SYMPOSIUM S 3.7: Nonlinear and Kinetic Effects in ULF Waves

Convenor: J.C. Samson
Co-convenor: R.L. Lysak

This symposium will focus on studies of the nonlinear evolution of
ULF plasma waves and kinetic effects in the interact of ULF waves
with the plasma population. The studies include the lowest frequency
magnetohydrodynamic waves, up to and including waves at the ion
cyclotron frequency. Submission of theoretical computatonal and
experimental studies are encouraged.
