PLANS FOR GEM MINI-WORKSHOP: DEC. 10, 1995 - GEM BL Campaign WG-3 Plans
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
From: Nancy Crooker (CROOKER at buasta.bu.edu)

WORKING GROUP 3: CURRENT SYSTEMS AND MAPPING
LEADERS: Eigil Friis-Christensen and Nancy Crooker

As scheduled in Harlan Spence's agenda, our group will meet in Room
250 of the Moscone center from 2:45 to 4:15. The purpose of our meeting is
twofold. First, in order to respond to a request from the chair of our
Steering Committee, Jeff Hughes, for a brief report assessing progress and
future plans, we will hold a frank discussion addressing the points and
questions he listed for consideration:
1: Goals and objectives of the Working Group
2: Progress to date towards those objectives -- how close are we to
achieving them, what more needs to be done (if anything)?
3: When do we envisage that the Working Group will accomplish its task
and be wound up? How will we get there?
The results of this discussion will be summarized into a report for
consideration by the Steering Committee later in the week.
Second, we will hold informal discussions on relevant research topics.
Anyone with new results or progress on ongoing WG3 projects to report is
welcome to share them with the group.
