Data Needed for GEM Inner Magnetosphere Storms Campaign

At the Fall AGU GEM mini-workshop it was agreed that we should create a
Storms Campaign web site to facilitate the exchange of data, plots, ideas,
and analysis for the GEM Inner Magnetosphere Campaign. We now request input
from the broad scientific community.

The GEM Storms web pages are now on-line at
http://leadbelly.lanl.gov/GEM_Storms/GEMstorms.html

Currently the selection of data sets is limited to Dst index and LANL
geosynchronous data. We would like to include digital data, summary plots,
and/or relevant links for any or all of the campaign events.

The first scientific theme selected for detailed investigation was "A
Comparison of CME and High-Speed Stream Generated Storms".

Three storms were selected as the primary campaign events for this theme.
They are:
	May 1997,
	March 1998, and
	June 1998.
These storms are all of similar magnitude (as measured by Dst ~ -110) but
are distinctly different in other regards (e.g. Relativistic electron flux).

In addition the GEM Storms pages collect information about several other
storms that are not specifically part of the GEM-IM Campaign but are being
actively studied by members of the community. They are:
	May 1998,
	August 1998, and
	September 1998.

 If you would like to contribute data, plots, model results, or other
information please use the existing pages as a template. Then contact Geoff
Reeves (reeves at lanl.gov) for instructions on how to link your information
to the GEM Storms pages.
