A GEM mini-workshop will be held on December 9, 2001 1-5:30 pm at the 
San Francisco Marriott Hotel.

I will endeavour to keep this site updated when I receive detailed 
information about the sessions from the conveners.

A GEM steering committee will follow that evening at 6:30 pm at the
