*************************** ** THE GEM MESSENGER ** *************************** Volume 14, Number 31 June 7, 2004 --------------------------------------------- GGCM Session - From Working Groups to Models --------------------------------------------- From: Michael Wiltberger Organizers: Michael Wiltberger (wiltbemj@ucar.edu) and Aaron Ridley (ridley@umich.edu) It has been the long standing goal of the GEM program to develop a global geospace general circulation model (GGCM) in order to further our understanding of geospace. The nominal task of each campaign is to develop theories and components that can be included into GGCMs. The focus of this session is facilitate communication between the working groups and members of the community working to develop GGCMs. The session will be begin with a series of short presentations on how to get viable products out of the campaigns and into these GGCM and will be followed by a panel discussion.
