The panel visited all four of the NSF-supported incoherent scatter radars and the SuperDARN operations office at the Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Maryland. The report is an excellent review of the scientific and technical accomplishments enabled by these facilities. The report also includes important recommendations for better meeting the goals of the facilities program.
