*************************** ** THE GEM MESSENGER ** *************************** Volume 15, Number 6 February 3, 2005 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- New M-I Coupling Campaign Working Group on Global M-I Coupling -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Jeff Hughes Following discussions at the Fall AGU Meeting, the M-I Coupling Campaign is forming a new Working Group to complement the existing two working groups that focus on M-I Mass Exchange and on M-I Electrodynamic Coupling. The new Working Group will focus on Global M-I Coupling with particular emphasis on the global patterns of currents, electric fields, and ionospheric conductance. The new working group co-chairs are Mervyn Freeman (British Antarctic Survey, MPF@bas.ac.uk), and David Murr (Dartmouth College, david.murr@dartmouth.edu).
