1. Correction to Call for Proposals for New Focus Groups

Focus group proposals may be up to 4 pages in length. They must follow 
the format and meet the deadline as specified in the first message.

(Editor’s Note: In the GEM Messenger issued on November 11, it was 
incorrectly stated that each Focus Group proposal was limited to 2 
pages. Please refer to the corrected announcement at

2. 2013 GEM Mini-workshop: Tail Inner-magnetosphere interactions
   Focus Group Session

The GEM Tail inner magnetosphere interactions focus group will be 
having a meeting at the 2013 GEM mini-workshop on Sunday, December 8, 
from 12:00-1:50. Participants are invited to make a short presentation 
and to participate in the discussion and planning for the upcoming 
summer workshop. If you wish to make a presentation, please email us. 
We look forward to seeing you in San Francisco.
